It has been announced that Delia Smith will be given the Guild's prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at its 25^th Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 22 June 2022.

The award will be the highlight of the evening, which will take place at the Royal Institution in Albemarle Street, London W1 and be attended by 300 of the country's leading food writers and broadcasters.

Guild President Orlando Murrin comments: 'The Guild is delighted to bestow its top award on the country's best-loved and most revered food writer. For over 50 years Delia has changed the way the British think about food, and her recipes have given millions of people the confidence to learn to cook and entertain. The award is given in recognition of her imagination and creativity, her dedication to good, honest food and her uncompromising attention to detail.'
