We are delighted to announce that in the second year of the Fellowship Fund, the Guild sub-committee has awarded research assistance to three applicants. There was strong competition and some great and varied ideas, projects and plans, but in the end we decided the following members had the most merit within the terms of the Fund’s remit and intentions (and financial limitations). We look forward to enjoying the fruits of their research:

£600 to Sam Bilton for research into the history of gingerbread

£700 to Sue Quinn for research into the life of Florence White

£700 to Adrienne Katz Kennedy for research into the food and culture of New Mexico.

We hope that those who were not successful on this occasion will reapply, if appropriate, and that others will be encouraged to have a go next year.
