Len Mitchell

Professional Chef Len Mitchell has held many positions in the Hotel and Restaurant industry during his illustrious career. He is an alumnus of SUNY Delhi’s Hospitality Management program. He graduated with honors to earn an Associate's degree in Restaurant Management / Culinary Arts, and went on to SUNY New Paltz and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Economics. He currently works as an Executive Chef and loves every minute of it in Boston, Massachusetts, which allows him to fulfill his lifelong dream to live life on the ocean.

Chef Len has authored his first book: "Mise en Peace... A Culinary Journey, In Search of Home."
A collection of short stories that depict his exciting and real culinary journey. The aim of the work is to enlighten, entertain, and transform the path that new Chefs embark upon, transforming kitchens into workplaces that are emotionally safe, secure, and profitable. Everything Chef Len includes are actual accounts of what he has learned the hard way. Len delightfully includes actual success stories, while being humble about lessons learned in his kitchen career that spans four decades and five states.
