I am a Romanian journalist, communications specialist, and food anthropologist with over 15 years of experience in journalism, media, and storytelling. My work focuses on the cultural, social, and economic dimensions of food, exploring how food shapes communities, identities, traditions, and contemporary lifestyles.
Since 2012, I have been a contributor to Business Review, one of Romania's leading English-language business publications, where I cover entrepreneurship, tourism, culture, gastronomy, and sustainability. I also work as a communication freelancer with independent projects dedicated to food culture, wine, hospitality, and rural development.
In 2024, I completed a Master's degree in Anthropology with focus on Food Anthropology at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA) in Bucharest. My academic research focused on artisan bread as a cultural and social artifact, examining the relationship between traditional baking practices, local identity, and contemporary consumer behavior.
Alongside my journalistic work, I collaborate with food producers, chefs, gastronomic associations, wine professionals, tourism organizations, and cultural institutions to develop content and communication strategies that promote food heritage, sustainable food systems, and local food cultures.
My work is driven by a belief that food is one of the most powerful lenses through which we can understand society, memory, place, and human connection.
