Ankita is a London-based food, travel, and culture writer and the founder of Crispy Compass, a Substack publication of narrative non-fiction exploring place, memory, and identity through food.
Born in Calcutta, India, Ankita moved to the United States as a teenager to study engineering at Georgia Tech before spending over a decade as a strategy consultant at Deloitte in New York and IBM in London, advising C-suites on growth, innovation, and sustainability. An MBA at IESE Business School in Barcelona was, by her own admission, largely an excuse to eat her way through every tapa she could find. She now writes Crispy Compass from London, with her bags perpetually half-packed.
