I am a writer, journalist, and film photographer. With a PhD in anthropology from the University of Sydney and an MA in food culture from the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy. I publish fictional work under “Art of the Escape” and have been a contributing writer for various publications in Europe and the US, covering topics related to food, culture, and travel for magazines and publications like Monocle, The Guardian, The Atlantic, Vice, Roads & Kingdoms, and many others.
