Seema Dalvi

My name is Seema Dalvi, and my journey into the culinary world has been anything but ordinary. As a little girl, I grew up in an environment where dreaming big — especially about becoming a chef — wasn’t encouraged. Yet, the spark inside me never faded. Even when life took me down a different path and I became a secondary maths teacher, I carried my love for food quietly but fiercely in my heart.

Eventually, I found the courage to honour that passion. What began as a personal love for cooking transformed into a professional calling. I stepped into the world of private dining, where I grew into an award‑winning private chef. Each recognition reminded me how far I had come from the girl who wasn’t allowed to dream. With every dish, I discovered more of my voice, my creativity, and my purpose.

My journey didn’t stop there. I went on to become an award‑winning chef and restaurateur, building spaces where food, culture, and emotion come together. Creating experiences that touch people’s hearts is what drives me every day.

One of the proudest milestones of my life was being selected as a finalist for Mrs India Worldwide 2026. That platform celebrated not just beauty, but resilience, identity, and the courage to evolve. Standing there was a reminder that women can rewrite their stories at any stage of life.

Today, I cook with intention, lead with compassion, and live with gratitude. My mission is simple: to create food that tells a story — my story — and inspires others to believe in the power of their own.
