Suzanne Zeidy

I’m an author and former restaurateur with an interest in Egyptian food and culture. My latest book, Egypt: Recipes & Stories from an Ancient Land, co-authored with Rawah Badrawi, explores the country’s culinary heritage through recipes and storytelling. My previous book, Cairo Kitchen, grew out of my restaurant of the same name. After two decades in hospitality, I now focus on writing and documenting Egypt’s evolving food culture, sharing stories that connect history, memory, and the everyday table.
