Louise Rhind-Tutt

A keen communicator, I have over two decades of professional experience in PR and in writing and editing for national, regional and international publications, predominantly about food, drink and hospitality across Manchester, the North of England and Scotland as well as internationally.

I have written and reviewed for publications including the i Paper, iNews, National Geographic Traveller Food, The Caterer, SquareMeal, The Scotsman, The Yorkshire Post, Postcards magazine, Food Republic, The Takeout, About Manchester, and I Love MCR, where I also spent several years as Editor.

I have also judged at food festivals and events including World Steak Challenge, the British Pie Awards, the Smithfield Awards (QGuild of Butchers), Grillstock, the Kansas City Barbeque Society, Wing Fest, and the Manchester Food & Drink Festival Awards.

I joined Static Media in 2023 as a food and drink news writer for Food Republic before becoming a freelance editor at The Takeout in 2025.
