I’m a writer and ghostwriter for people & indie businesses who have stories and visions that they want to bring to life. I have an incredible role working at Spice Kitchen where I get to do many of these things and more. I was the ghostwriter for Sanjay Aggarwal's debut cookery book 'Spice Kitchen' published by Quadrille Books, and I'm currently writing 'Essential Spices for Dummies', published by Wiley as part of their international range.
Quadrille have approached us to write a second cookery book, which will be called 'Stories from the Kitchen Table' and will include stories of people from around the world, including the refugee community, and how food (and especially spices) connect us.
Outside of my work for Spice Kitchen, I have always worked in food, but with a community focus and grounding in food as therapy: I've cooked for groups attending outdoor mindfulness retreats, for people in care and for underprivileged communities.
Over the years I have ghostwritten 10 books and people have said I have a gift for seeing life’s deeper patterns and cycles, which I learned through studying imaginative writing and eco therapy, to building therapy clinics, creating safe spaces for women fleeing war zones, writing memoirs, trauma resources and now cookery books with meaning.
