Sanjay Aggarwal

I’m a food entrepreneur, writer and community cook with a passion for spices, storytelling, and helping people fall in love with cooking from scratch. I co-founded Spice Kitchen, a family-run business rooted in my mum’s heritage, and we’ve grown into an award-winning brand championing global spice blends and home cooking.

I co-authored Spice Kitchen: A Collection of Favourite Flavours and Family Recipes (2022), and I’m currently working on our follow-up book Stories from the Table (2025), which celebrates food heritage and family recipes from communities across the UK and beyond. I’m also in the process of writing Spice For Dummies (Wiley, out 2026), a fun and practical guide to using spices with confidence—part of the iconic For Dummies series.

In 2023, I launched Bite Club, a community-powered cookery movement helping busy parents—especially dads—build confidence in the kitchen and cook simple, nourishing food. Through digital content, live cookalongs, and recipe development, we support families in cooking more joyfully.

My work spans editorial writing, book publishing, recipe development, community outreach and digital storytelling—all rooted in real food, big flavour, and family connection.
