I am a classically French-trained chef specialising in Modern Middle Eastern cuisine, showcasing the best local and sustainable produce. Of Jordanian descent, I was brought up in Anglesey in Wales, and studied at SOAS in London with a specialised ISP in the anthropology and semiotics of Middle Eastearn Cuisine. I then went on to achieve a Diploma in Food and Wine at Leiths School of Food and Wine. I am Chef Patron of Glastonbury-based restaurant The Queen of Cups. I have featured on Masterchef The Professionals, Great British Menu, along with winning a few awards along the way. I write regularly for the Morning Advertiser, have written for Ocado, and most recently a judged for the Guild of Fine Food.
