Hi there, Julius here, a filmmaker-turned-content-creator (@hermann) on a mission to promote an unprocessed, more natural approach to plant-based food. Since changing to a vegan diet, my curiosity about traditional dishes has led me on an incredible journey. From the bustling streets of Mumbai to the heart of Tuscany and the pre-hispanic cuisine of Mexico, I’ve learned that eating vegan is not only easier than I thought — it’s something we’ve been doing for thousands of years. Religion, poverty and even nature all play a role and it’s this journey of discovery that I document in my YouTube series, and that led me to writing my first book, Naturally Vegan.

So why did I join The Guild? As someone passionate about honouring traditional dishes, I want to be around people who understand how food connects us to culture and meaning. Content creation demands fast, bite-sized ideas, but gives little space to explain why they really matter. Being a member is a chance to grow not just as a writer, but as a storyteller who can bring those connections to life in different ways, and for a wider audience.
