I am an author, lecturer and broadcaster on the social history of English afternoon tea, plus other food history related topics. I also review hotels and restaurants for Beau Monde Traveller magazine, and will be the advisory editor of their forthcoming title that will specialise in afternoon tea. My first book on the topic of afternoon tea was published by Carnegie Publishers in 2022. I am regularly consulted by BBC stations to speak on afternoon tea and tea drinking.
