Lina Saad

I am an award-winning cookbook author, freelance food writer and Lebanese culinary heritage specialist based in London. My work explores the traditions, history and cultural significance of Lebanese cuisine with a particular focus on preserving family recipes, village footways and the stories that connect food to identity, memory and heritage. My features and articles appeared in Synonym Magazine, FFJ, Good Food, The Guardian and Dark media.
I am passionate about documenting and sharing Lebanon's rich culinary traditions through writing, public speaking and cookery demonstrations. This has led to to media appearances, including Netflix's Story of Ramadan.
Over the years, I have participated in food festival, culinary demonstrations and cultural initiatives that celebrate food culture and cross-cultural understanding through food.
As a member of the GFW and the Committee on Events, I enjoy bringing people together through food and story telling. I am particularly interested in opportunities to present, write, speak and collaborate on projects that showcase Lebanese cuisine and culinary heritage to wider audience.
