Sarah Rankin

I am a private chef, cooking for clients all over the country, after finishing as a finalist on BBC’s MasterChef in 2022. I host Supper Clubs at my home in Perthshire, and pop up dining events and collaborations all over Scotland. I run cookery classes for home cooks in Perthshire, all focusing on
seasonal and sustainable eating. I write a regular column for DC Thomson titles, and freelance with other publications such as Scottish Field, Highland News Media and the Scot’s Magazine. I also work as culinary event host, welcoming visitors and competitors to the Golden Spurtle World Porridge
Championships every October, hosting the Scottish Foodies Festival Chef’s Theatre and the Ideal Home Show Food and Drink stage. I am a regular contributor on BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio 4 iconic food panel show, The Kitchen Cabinet, talking all things food and cooking.
I am an ingredient led chef with a deep respect for both the produce I cook and the people who grow it. Celebrating farmers and growers who prioritise quality, welfare and integrity is central to my
work, and sharing their stories helps connect diners and consumers to the care and commitmentbehind every ingredient.
