I am a TV host/journalist turned cooking show host, cookbook author, and food columnist. Currently I am a correspondent for the NBC program called California live, where I share my cooking, culture, and traveling expertise. Prior to that, I turned my passion for preserving Middle Eastern recipes and culture into my YouTube show called "Feast in the Middle East." This venture has led to my cookbook called "Feast In The Middle East," a regular food column for the San Jose Mercury News and the national syndicated magazine called Arab America. My cookbook and show have been recognized and featured on BBC Travel, BBC International, NBC, Fox, Vogue Arabia, Egypt’s YouSat Channel, KQED, KPFA, and even Virgin America Airlines, where my cooking show was featured on their airline in-flight entertainment. My Feast In the Middle East blog was also voted the 6th most popular Middle Eastern food blog in the world.
