Bill Buckley

I have been a journalist for 46 years and a broadcaster for the last 42 of those years in both television and radio both for the BBC and in the commercial sector, many of those hours having been devoted to food and drink. I've cooked on television (e.g., Carlton Food Network and Open House with Gloria Hunniford on Channel 5), been food and drink editor of BBC Southern Counties Radio Magazine, and written food and travel pieces for Yes Chef! magazine. I won a week of Come Dine with Me on Channel 4.

I’m a judge/coordinator for The Great Taste Awards and The Academy of Chocolate. I’m compèred and/or demo-ed at numerous food festivals, most recently Didcot. I’ve interviewed many authors in front of audiences at literary festivals, e.g., Guildford and Henley-on-Thames.
