Kate Mann

I am a freelance food and travel writer based in Munich. I am originally from London but my career has taken me across Europe. This included two years in Bra, Piedmont, where I worked as an editor for Slow Food International. It was here where my interest in food and travel writing really developed.
I regularly write about Germany and Italy as travel destinations, with a focus on local gastronomy and culture. I also have a blog about the food and drink scene in Munich. My work has been published in BBC Travel, The Telegraph, The Sunday Times, Lonely Planet, Fodor's, The Independent, Standart magazine and Condé Nast Traveler.
