Elli is an editor, content marketing specialist, recipe writer and food trends expert with nearly 15 years' experience.
As head of food at Tesco Magazine, she oversees all food content. This includes commissioning and editing recipe and feature content as well as developing, writing and testing her own recipes for a publication with 6.19 million readers. In her personal life, Elli runs Instagram account @LeamingtonFoodie, where she highlights the food scene in her local area. She also recently started a Substack called TL;DR recipes, where she shares simple and quick recipes.
Prior to working on Tesco content, Elli wrote about food, beverage and hospitality trends at consultancy Stylus. She has an MA in magazine journalism from City University and an Essential Evening Certificate from Leiths and became a Great Taste judge in 2025.
