Emiliano Amore has been cooking his way up in the food scene of Brighton in the last 12 years.
He was selected as personal chef for the worldwide premier of Game of Thrones and since then he has worked for various years as a personal chef for actors from Marvel and Disney.
Then he decided to focus on community projects starting with the famed Refettorio Felix founded by 3-star Michelin Massimo Bottura serving the homeless community in London using surplus food.
During lockdown, he worked as a catering manager for the homeless shelter in Brighton and reached his target of cooking 10,000 meals using only surplus food.
He joined the Food Partnership from 2021 till 2024, to lead both community & commercial cookery classes where he designed several cookery courses for marginalized people and in particular for refugees and asylum seekers, adults with learning disabilities, families on a low income, adults and kids on the spectrum, kids with neurodiversity’ and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
He ran 350 classes in the Community Kitchen and taught cookery skills to over 4200 people.
He is currently working as development chef for a catering company.
He is an active food writer, and he is currently working on his book A ROMAN IN BRITAIN.
He has been nominated for the BEST NEWCOMER AWARD 2024 by THE GUILD OF FOOD WRITERS.
