Laura Strange

For the past 7 years I have been developing recipes and writing about food (and travel) on my website www.mygfguide.com. I specialise in gluten free food and my debut cookbook "Eat & Enjoy Gluten Free" is due to be published in February this year, by Hardie Grant.

I absolutely love my job and my passion for food continues to grow. I have a drive to show that gluten free food and cookery can be delicious when done well. And sharing my knowledge and recipes with other gluten free people is such a joy.

I publish new recipes on my website roughly once a week, sent out to my newsletter readers and shared on my social media channels.

I have also written recipes for client websites, or to showcase their products on my website/social media channels. As well as having had my recipes shared by various publications.

I have showcased gluten free cookery at a number of food festivals and shows, and speak as part of panels about gluten free cooking and coeliac disease (I have been coeliac for 25 years).

I previously worked for corporate law firms and accountancy firms for about a decade, specialising in business development (lots of pitch writing!). In the early years of my career I also undertook translation and editing work on the side, as I have a masters in French and Italian translation and interpreting.

I live in Bristol with my husband and two young children.
