Jan Fullwood

I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Home Economics from Bath Spa University and have enjoyed a full and varied career in food. I began working in new product development for St Ivel Ltd, then moved into food retail at Tesco plc, working in product evaluation, public relations and as a contributor to the Tesco Magazine. As Commercial Food Projects Manager for the Good Housekeeping Institute I set up the food testing for the renowned Accreditation scheme before becoming freelance to pursue more creative opportunities. I have had the pleasure to work with many high profile clients, providing creative and practical support to retailers, manufacturers and publishers through product development and evaluation; recipe writing, testing and editing; food and cookery demonstrations. I am passionate about promoting local and seasonal food and encouraging young people to cook. You can generally find me in my well stocked kitchen creating and cooking for friends and family, for both work and pleasure.
