Phil Harriss

I was Deputy Editor of the 'Time Out London Eating & Drinking' guide for more than 20 years, specialising in Indian, Chinese and British restaurants. I have also edited an edition of Time Out's 'Cheap Eats' guide. I edited online reviews for Square Meal for many years and am still an Inspector for the 'Good Food Guide' (I copy-edited the entire guide for two years). I wrote a guide in the 1990s to London's street markets ('London Markets', Cadogan, 1996), which went to four editions and I have an MA (distinction) in Food Policy. For 20 years I have owned an orchard in Gloucestershire and make cider and perry every autumn (and I also write about cider).
