Coming up at the Supper Club

Talking about food and identity has become a staple on my podcast Cooking the Books with Gilly Smith. So it was a hop and a skip of an idea to bring it to life in my home in East Sussex.

The idea is simple;  podcast guests as well as chefs, bloggers and would-be writers tell us the stories behind their food over a multi course BYO dinner for up to 26 at £45 pp. We’ve got plenty of room, so guests can stay over in one of our en-suite bedrooms overlooking meadows and woodland for an extra £60pp.

If you’re as fascinated by Biblical Cuisine as I am, my recent guest on Cooking The Books, Ruth Nieman and whose book Freekeh: Wild Wheats and Ancient Grains is shortlisted for the Andre Simon Awards, will be serving up a menu fit for the gods on Monday March 21.
