Lerato is a writer, broadcaster and leading voice in African cuisine. Inspired by her love of Africa and the glorious foods of the continent, she set up supper clubs and cookery classes across the UK which have steadily brought the diversity and multiplicity of African cooking to home cooks. She has worked as a journalist, editor and columnist, in both television and radio, producing and presenting her own cookery show as well as presenting breakfast television. Her work and classes have been featured by the BBC, Waitrose Weekend, The Evening Standard and more. Her masterclasses are sought after by multinationals, universities and NGOs for their focus on African cookery as an important part of world history.
