Helen is a freelance food and recipe writer, with a special interest in barbecue. She is the editor of Pit, an independent magazine with its roots in live-fire cooking. She was thrilled to win Editor of the Year at the British Society of Magazine Editors’ Awards this year and is excited about steering Pit through 2021 – the magazine saw an exciting 283% increase in subscribers in 2020.
