New Member: Pamela Lalbachan

Pamela is a published food writer and author of the The Complete Caribbean Cookbook (Lansdowne Publishing, Sydney, Australia, 1994). The book sold internationally and has a Dutch translation. She taught her own cookery classes for over 20 years in Sydney and London in a range of cuisines. The highlights were teaching at the Sydney Seafood School, Sydney and at Divertimenti, Marylebone and Chelsea. She has worked in catering for a couple of years, had food stalls at music festivals such as the Glastonbury Festival and worked in food-related media. Pamela, largely stopped food-related work to have a family, and worked in media and broadcasting, predominantly for BBC Radio 4 programming. She later re-trained and works as a solicitor. Since lockdown, she has resumed her passion for food writing and started her own food blog, which talks about food, community, history and politics, and includes recipes:
