Returning Member: Lorna Wing

Lorna is a cook, recipe writer and cookery teacher with a long culinary career. She trained as a home economist, before working as a chef for Prue Leith. Thereafter, she cooked her way around the world and sailed the Atlantic, crewing aboard a yacht bound for the Caribbean. Lorna went on to run Heal’s Restaurant for Sir Terence Conran and to have a highly acclaimed catering company, organising events for everyone from rock stars to royalty. She’s the author of Party Food, and a former columnist for Delia Smith’s Sainsbury's Magazine and for Woman & Home.

Now, Lorna teaches cookery online to students taking their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, and, via her consultancy, continues to provide product and recipe development for brands, and menu-writing for caterers, party planners, et al.
