Robyn has written on food and travel in Turkey, Asia, and Europe for the New York Times, 1843 Magazine, Saveur, TASTE, Wall Street Journal, Travel+Leisure, and CN Traveller UK. Her cookbook Istanbul & Beyond: Exploring the Diverse Cuisines of Turkey (Rux Martin/Houghton Mifflin Harcourt 2017) was a finalist for the 2018 Art of Eating Award, was named a Best Read of 2017 by National Public Radio, and was included in Best Cookbooks lists in Boston Globe, San Francisco Chronicle, Wall Street Journal, Saveur, Fine Cooking, and other publications. Robyn has spoken on Turkey's culinary cultures on American radio and at venues including The School of Artisan Food's 'Food for Thought', 'Tasting Australia' in Adelaide, The National Press Club in Washington DC, Middlebury College, and Northeastern University. 

From 2005 to 2017 Robyn co-published, with her photographer partner, the award-winning food blog EatingAsia. She is based in Piemonte, where she moved 2.5 years ago after 20 years in Asia.
