Christie is a freelance food and travel writer from London, who moved to the heart of Germany’s Rheingau wine region in 2010. Her blog is the only Germany-based, English language website focusing on regional German food and travel. Christie is a regular contributor to National Geographic Traveller Food, has updated chapters for two editions of Fodor’s Germany travel guide and written for publications including Time Out, EATEN, The Guardian and Singapore Airlines magazine. She was shortlisted for the Young British Foodies’ Fresh Voices in Food Writing award in 2016.
