Keshia Thomas-Jeffers

My name is Keshia Sakarah. I am a Chef and owner of Caribe' - Caribbean Eating, also recipe contributor and food writer on topics such as culture, identity and the deeper meaning of food. I studied BSc Food and Consumer Management at University College Birmingham before completing my Masters in Nutrition and Public Health Management at Sheffield Hallam. Although I had studied a lot of food theory, my passion for creativity always lead me back into the kitchen. After completing my studies I decided, I started my street food business which has grown from strength to strength. In 2019, I opened my first permanent space and since then my career as a food writer and creative has grown tremendously.
