Alex Barker

Writing and talking about good food; creating and photographing great images, have been the pillars of my full-time career. I enjoyed many years at Woman's Own Magazine and then Prima as Cookery Editor. Following this I was director of Food Features Photographic Library and continued freelance work in all areas of food. Now I am living just outside Chichester I run cookery classes at home in Tangmere – Cookwithalex. I have classes for all ages from 11 years upwards and various subjects as well as individually tailored days . The variety is endless - from retired gents starting at chopping onions, to groups of ladies enjoying a happy cooking day on almost any subject; youngster off to UNI of course or those who want to run chalets. In addition to that I also specialise in home prepared Canapés in the local area.
